In 2021, we came across a 45-acre property in the San Jacinto Mountains of Southern California, reduced to ashes by the Cranston Fire. Instead of seeing devastation, we saw possibility—a blank canvas to restore and transform into a unique kind of ranch, one that would heal itself from the ground up. Our vision is to work with nature, restoring the soil, nurturing biodiversity, and building a thriving ecosystem where food and animals can grow in harmony. We’re by no means experts, but we’re learning as we go, and there’s no better teacher than nature herself.
With this mission in mind, we launched The Mercantile—not only to fund our regenerative journey but to share the tools, gear, and timeless objects we love and trust. Each purchase from The Mercantile isn’t just a transaction; it’s a direct contribution to bringing this land back to life.
